We celebrated NYE at my cousin Cherryl's house and we had so much fun!
McKane had a bit of a sore throat that night so he took benadryl 10 minutes before we left to the party. (Who does this? It reminds me of the time he took a sleeping pill an hour before we landed in Chile. haha. Not the brightest crayon).
So, here was Mckane the whole beginning of the party:
I pushed Everett on the swing outside for a while and it cracked me up that he could not keep his eyes open for the flash but that he maintained such a sweet smile for the camera :)

We first visited and enjoyed the grub inside, then we all went outside for some (crazy and cool) fireworks. After a few brushes with death, we sent the kids up to enjoy the fireworks from the balcony, haha.
Chrissy and Eric + Eric's adorable kids made these cute NYE hats for everyone. It made the night feel so much more festive.
At 12:00 both of my boys were still up to ring in the New Year (What- it's only a couple hours past their bedtime anyway :) We celebrated with a 30+ person noise parade down the street and some more fireworks.
The video is dark, but you can kind of hear the ruckus we created- excuse my voice in the video-.
It was such a fun night and such a great start to the New Year. Happy 2012!!

"after a few brushes with death"... ha ha ha. I got no pictures of that night. lame. Such a fun midnight ringing in the new year though, seriously maybe my favorite.
