Christmas Week

Christmas week was chalk-full of family fun. Tuesday Night we met Casey and Tiff and their family for dinner at Freddy's. Afterward we went over to a cul de sac in Mesa to look at Christmas lights.

The boys loved the sponge bob themed yard.

(In the middle of the night Tuesday, Everett threw up twice :(. He was SO happy between and after throwing up, and he was acting totally normal, so we thought something he ate just hadn't sat well. Still sad to see such a little one covered in puke- Poor guy)

Wednesday Night we had our Blake family Christmas party. We started off with the Nativity, which was especially neat this year because Bekah played the piano throughout the whole thing. Amazing what background music can do for a performance.

Following the nativity, we always have a talent show. Here are the boys chillin during the show.

After the talents, we sing ~16 Christmas songs as a family. I LOVE it.

McKane thinks its a little long (scrooge, I know).

Thursday Night was the Jennings' family Christmas party.

We started the night off with some minute to win it games. The first- get an Oreo from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands.

Everett thought everyone was just smashing the Oreo to their face before eating it, haha.

An adult minute to win it game with Katie and Andy being the first participators- they were trying to get ping pong balls out of a box strapped to their backs. It was funny to watch, haha.

Beck, lookin handsome:

The kids singing Christmas carols and playing jingle bells, not knowing a special guest was about to arrive.

Everett's reaction to the 'Special Guest': crying, saying "Scary Santa".

Once Everett realized Santa had candy, he was a little less traumatized.

And he cheered right up after Santa left, haha

Beckam was excited to personally request"159 zoobles" from Santa.

We had so much fun in all of our celebration!

Thursday night I got SO sick. I was up throwing up from about 2am-10am. It was a MISERABLE 24 hours. Luckily, McKane was able to take off of work and take care of the kids, and me a little bit too. Another plus was the fact that I got sick on the perfect day- the only day of the week that we didn't have something. I had hoped to do some last minute Christmas shopping that day, but for the most part I had everything done and ready for Christmas eve and Christmas day- thank goodness.
