October (ish)

We have visited jump street a few times over the last few months, since it's right next to Crossfit, the gym I go to. The boys LOVE jumping and running around and I might just enjoy the tramps as much as they do- they're so fun!

Jumping around reminded me to set up our own bounce house. And where better than the middle of our family room? haha.

Here Everett is practicing his hoop skills
Beckam and our neighbor/his buddy Mitchell:
One Saturday in October, Tiff and I took the boys to a farm down in Lehi. We had so much fun playing around in the corn maze
Riding horses
Going on the Hay Ride
Ridin the 'train'
And posing on the horse (Everett didn't so much love this part- he was pretty scared, even with Beckam holding him, haha).
That same day we went to the farm I canned for the first time ever. My neighbor Denise came over and we learned together how to can delicious Utah Pears- Yum. It was easier than I thought, and I've loved being able to bust them out and enjoy the fruits of our labor :)
Another 'project' I worked on in October, with a tremendous amount of help/encouragement from my mother in law, was this adorable 'SPOOKTACULAR' banner.
It wasn't ready for halloween, since I couldn't find anything cute to string it together with, but when it is ready I will hang it with pride, no matter what season it is.

A few weeks ago, Beckam started soccer. He's liked going to practice, and was so excited for his first game.

Since the 3-4 year olds are together, he gets to be on a team with his cousin CJ.

And his cousin Payt is in the same league as him but is on a different/older team.
The first game Beckam ran around, and was actually doing pretty well. But after playing for a while he started crying and didn't want to play any more. When asked what was wrong he said 'they keep taking the ball from me' haha. He sat on the side the rest of that game.
We took a lot of time after that to talk about the 'fundamentals' of soccer, and sports in general- that everyone is going to try to get the ball, you just have to go get it back. The next game was much better (no crying) and the game after that he scored ~6 goals!! Yay!!

The boys and I have also gone to Tumbleweed park a few times. It's been so nice out and we have had so much fun enjoying the beautiful weather and playing/running around.

Fall. This is why we love AZ.
